MS Program

Graduate program (MS)

The Department of Civil Engineering offers a graduate program ranging from fundamental and theoretical to application-oriented. Some of the research also involves interdisciplinary and collaborative studies. The Department of Civil Engineering offers an MS degree program in five major areas of specialization: structural and material engineering, geotechnical engineering, construction management, ecology and disaster prevention engineering, and hydraulic engineering.

Graduation and course policy

Within a maximum of 4 years since entering the MS program, an MS student must complete at least 24 graduate credit hours and submit a thesis to the examining committee consisting of at least three members.
