Students from the Department of Civil Engineering at National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) achieved outstanding results in the 2026 National Engineering Innovation Competition for College Students. Standing out among numerous participating teams, they successfully advanced to the national finals and won third place, demonstrating their strong engineering expertise, innovative thinking, and teamwork.

The theme of this year's competition was "New Bridge Construction," emphasizing creativity and technical excellence in bridge engineering and structural design while incorporating emerging topics such as artificial intelligence (AI), smart technologies, and environmental sustainability. The competition encouraged students to integrate engineering knowledge, innovative ideas, and digital technologies to develop creative and practical engineering design solutions.

Through their solid foundation in civil engineering, innovative design concepts, and effective teamwork, the Taipei Tech team earned recognition from the judges and achieved an impressive result in the national finals. This accomplishment highlights the department's commitment to cultivating engineering professionals with strong technical expertise, creativity, and interdisciplinary capabilities.
