Faculty and students from the Department of Civil Engineering achieved outstanding results in the finals of the 2026 Student BIM Software Application Competition, winning both First Place and Third Place.

The finals of the 2026 Student BIM Software Application Competition, jointly organized by the Chinese Institute of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering (CICHE) and National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), were held on September 9, 2026. Competing against teams from universities across Taiwan, our faculty and student teams distinguished themselves through their strong professional expertise, innovative ideas, and practical BIM capabilities, ultimately securing First Place and Third Place in the final competition. These outstanding achievements demonstrate the Department’s excellence in BIM education, innovation, and practical applications.

Congratulations to all the award-winning students on their remarkable achievements! We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Department Chair Professor Yu-Cheng Lin and Professor Nai-Wen Chi for their dedicated guidance and continued support throughout the competition. Their commitment, together with the students’ hard work and teamwork, contributed greatly to these outstanding results.
